We’re three days into the New Year; hopefully so far you’ve been sticking to the goals you set for yourself.
Maybe you have, maybe you haven’t. That’s not the point of this post.
The New Year rolls around and a lot of us set our goals: lose weight, run more, eat healthy, etc.
The point of this post is to bring light to a different type of goal to set – focusing on our somewhat forgotten (when it comes to making it part of our resolutions) friend, the human brain.
How many of us set goals for our minds; which is just as important as our body?
The mind creates the reality you live in. The mind determines what the body will do.
That’s why we decided to exercise our brain. Each day we do Lumosity – here’s what it is and its “purpose”.
It helps measure and improve 5 key areas of brain functionality: attention, flexibility, memory, problem solving and speed.
We also do our best to read at least one chapter of a book each day, to help fill our minds/brains with quality content.
We’ll probably all agree that there’s nothing like a good challenge, and seeing if you can beat your scores and improve yourself from day to day is such a fun and rewarding challenge.
Is there another software out there you use to workout your brain each day? If so, please share – we’d love to be challenged in a new way.
