Refuse To Drown – A True Story About A Tragedy Turned Into Something Positive

I was given an advance copy of “Refuse To Drown” a few weeks ago, since our company was helping the author, Tim Kreider, design and develop a website to help promote and sell his book.

It’s taken me a few weeks to write this blog post because my challenge has been that a “blog post” cannot do this book the type of “justice” it deserves.

REFUSE TO DROWN RODA BLOG

No matter how articulate I may try to be, no matter how hard I may try to convey the powerful messages inside this book, there’s just no way to give enough praise.

I was introduced to Tim Kreider via one of our clients.

Our client asked if we had ever done pro bono work for anyone, and if we would consider doing something of that nature for his friend.

I was in San Diego when this tragedy shook Lancaster County years ago, so I was unaware of the story and the impact it had on our community.

WHY WE GOT INVOLVED:

Our client and then Tim himself briefly described the topic of the book, the intention behind writing it and what they were seeking to accomplish.

My brother Adam and I decided to take on our first pro bono project, and boy are we glad we did.

After reading “Refuse To Drown” – you too will understand why we’re honored to be part of this story/journey with Tim.

“Refuse To Drown”, summed up as quickly as possible, is a true and cokmpelling story about a teenage boy who killed his best friend and his best friend’s mom and dad and then admitted to his dad, Tim, what he had done.

The tiny snippet shared above is just one of many “dimensions” to this story that will keep you turning the pages, but also prompt so many questions and thoughts.

I received the book on a Tuesday evening and only planned on reading a few pages that night. Before I knew it, four hours later, I was about 2/3 through the book.

Refuse To Drown

The next day I woke up and went right back to the book to see how things conclude and to see the “final message” of the book.

WOW!

–>> Tim, thank you for allowing us to help you spread this message to as many people as possible. It is a strong beacon of light for others to follow and be inspired by, because we all face difficult situations in our lives where we must choose doing what’s right instead of doing what’s “easier.”
